Default Open Source OE firmwares

Open edition firmwares need to be open source. Or they should be "leaked". This way, the scene will continue.

Ever heard of DVD Decrypter and what happened to the program and it's creator? Please stop bullshitting. No dev will, nor have to, put on stake his private life until his death. And yes, it's as bad as that. Big companies don't care about single persons private lifes.
