There is tinyfat (tff) or something, can't tell if it uses pre-ipl functions - though it looks complete on it's own (aside from a couple extern functions that don't seem to ever be used.)

I think that would be better create a "translation" table file, that "says" something like:
If UtopiaKernelModuleInfo use SceKernelModuleInfo for all files, The kernel would be 100% own, excepting this "emulation" file |

way to bump a year old thread
at the min it is bassically a shell i think it has no gui look at the other parts of the utopia forum you should read this cory1492 Administrator Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: At home, duh... Posts: 636 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Like I said... Quote: whether the original people who came up with the source have been actively working on it I cannot say. As in, it's not my place to speak for others when they haven't asked me to, especially where the OT is basically a request for something (rather than an offer to contribute) that even the people who may be working on it don't know. Maybe I'm the only one who remembers the spaz fest (and resulting 6month+ lull in this subforum after the initial commit was made public) that went on when just the name "utopia" was rumored - without any actual info behind it? Sleeping dogs, and so forth. So, basically the public info is this http://code.google.com/p/utopia/ http://code.google.com/p/utopia/source/list (last commit Oct 17, 2008) Though, xpack did work on it for a while apparently http://code.assembla.com/utopia_proj...bversion/nodes Unless someone who is actively working on it wants to tell us more, and in general their work (what they choose to share) speaks for itself. Anyhoo, back to tinkering with that crystal ball using my trusty sledge hammer - oh yes, it will work... or else __________________ Last edited by shanky887614; 09-28-2009 at 12:33 PM. |

LOL i get stuck a lot like that, wanting to do so much and end up just looking and doing nothing, i think you just have to be determined to make something, anything and sit down and start, it just happens then.

yes i was wondering about sce* functions as well. Anyway, i guess its best to start with the low-level stuff and work on up. But i am also wondering what to do next as i plan to contribute in this project, i just need to know what would be best?
my suggestions are: updater module -> for future utopia kernel releases if it will be continued ___________________ download ps3 games how to burn ps3 games |
