Firmware update

Hi there !
With the problems people are having lately because of the "03/01" bug, Sony will probably release a new firmware in the next 24 hours. This would also be the best moment to fix the "geohot exploit", since people have to update if they want to be able to play most of their games.
Could somebody test if this exploit still works with this firmware as soon as it is released?

Well, apparently Sony managed to fix this bug without updating the firmware, so this won't be needed for the moment.
However, there will be a firmware update at some point, and it will be nice to quickly know if the hack still works.

Sony did NOT fix the bug, it fixed itself once it hit 12am the next day.

I'm sure the first mod to come along will close it, it's fixed, we know what the reason was behind it (leap year yes?) so I agree, closing thread makes sense. Can't see what else good will come of it.
