I have this PSP2001 that I bought about a year ago. It had 3.60 or 3.90 OFW (I dont remember, but it wasnt 4.XX, so there wasn't a TA88v3 board on it) Once, my friend tried to hack it using his Pandora Battery and Magic MS, but the Battery would do nothing, It just acted like a normal battery.
But about a week ago he read about the ChickHEN + Hellcat's Recovery method. We decided to try it. Once we did everything fine according to various tutorials we checked (5.03 update ,getting some files on MS, runing in ChickHen mode, etc) we got to the CFW instalation.
Everything seemed fine during it, and my battery was at 100% before beggining the hack. In the en the PSP went off by itself, and the tuts said we should turn it on, and it could take various tries. So we tried again and again for about 3 hours, and the PSP wouldnt turn on. The green led turns on, but the screen stays off, along with everything else.
I took it to some tech, and he said that probably my "NAND" (i dont know what that means) got screwed by Hellcat's recovery, and that to get it repaired I would need some guy with a special programmer.
So, what do you think that happened to my PSP? How can I get it repaired? Is the guy right about it? What is the NAND?
